Aqua Libre ~ System Guide

🔹 1. UV with Filtration Systems

Best for: Homes and cottages using well, lake, or rainwater.

What it is: A complete whole-home system, combining UV disinfection with pre-filtration to remove sediment, taste, odours, and contaminants before disinfection. Use two filters for lake or shallow wells; one filter option works for well water without sediment or pre-treated sources.

🔹 2. UV Light Systems Only

Best for: Homes and cottages with pre-filtered water or municipal water that may still need disinfection.

What it is: Standalone ultraviolet disinfection systems that target bacteria, viruses, and microorganisms without using chemicals.

Includes:

  • UV lamp and chamber

  • Flow restrictor or controller

  • Mounting components

🔹 3. Reverse Osmosis (RO) Systems

Best for: Drinking water in homes, cottages, or offices where taste and purity are a priority.

What it is: A multi-stage system that filters out dissolved solids, heavy metals, chlorine, and contaminants from drinking water using a membrane and carbon filters. 

Includes:

  • Sediment + carbon pre-filters

  • RO membrane

  • Faucet and tank or tankless configuration

🔹 4. Cartridge Filtration

Best for: Cartridge Filtration only option, offering high-flow for entire residence filtration.

What it is: Individual sediment or carbon filters, 10" x4.5" or 20" x 4.5" size housings. 20" offer longer service life vs 10" filters. Choose from package that includes bracket with kit, housings, sediment and carbon filter. 

Includes:

  • Jumbo or standard filter cartridges;

  • Carbon - better filtration,

    improves taste 

  • Filter housings, bracket, wrench, o-ring

  • 1-Micron Absolute option for highest drinking water standard 

  • Pressure relief valves, isolation valves for quick replacement
