The Carbon Block Filter 20" (SMF CBC20B05) is a 5-micron carbon block replacement cartridge for standard 20" x 4.5" Big Blue Point of Entry (POE) filter housings. It removes chlorine, chloramines, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), taste, and odour from your whole-home water supply. The larger 20" format provides greater filter capacity and longer service life than the 10" version.
What It Does
Carbon block filtration is one of the most effective methods for removing chemical contaminants from water. At 5 microns, this filter also captures fine sediment and particulates. It's commonly used as a standalone whole-home carbon filter or as part of a multi-stage rack filtration system to improve water quality at every tap.

When to Replace

Installation
Fits directly into any standard Big Blue 20" x 4.5" filter housing. Shut off the water supply, use the housing wrench to unscrew the sump, swap the cartridge, and restore water flow. Contact us for support if needed.
