The RO Remineralizing Filter is a calcite and GAC (granular activated carbon) inline filter stage that adds beneficial minerals back into your RO-purified water — raising pH and improving taste. It's the upgrade stage that transforms standard RO water into naturally balanced, mineral-rich drinking water.
What It Does
Reverse osmosis removes virtually everything from water — including beneficial minerals like calcium and magnesium. While this produces very pure water, it can taste flat and have a slightly acidic pH. This remineralizing filter adds those minerals back in balanced proportions using a calcite and GAC media blend, raising pH to a more natural level and noticeably improving taste — without compromising the purity of the RO process.

This filter is for owners of the Excalibur Superior RO (EWR5075E) and Superior RO Plus (EWR5075EP) systems who want to add a remineralization stage to their existing setup, or replace an existing remineralizing filter cartridge.
