The Dual Gradient Sediment Filter 20" (SMF DGD20BB2505) is a premium wound polypropylene replacement cartridge for standard 20" x 4.5" Big Blue Point of Entry (POE) filter housings. Its dual-gradient design captures large particles at 25 microns on the outer layers and progressively finer particles down to 5 microns at the core — maximizing filter life and performance. The 20" format offers even greater capacity and longer service intervals than the 10" version.

What It Does

The dual-gradient design distributes the sediment load across the full depth of the filter rather than loading up the outer surface. This means longer filter life, better flow rates over time, and more thorough particle removal — capturing everything from coarse sand and rust at 25 microns down to fine silt and particulates at 5 microns.
