The Signature Series Optimum 8 BW Screen by Excalibur Water Systems is a compact, rack-mounted ultraviolet disinfection system built for point-of-entry installation on your home's main water line. With an 8 GPM flow rate and integrated pre-filtration, it provides whole-home protection against bacteria, viruses, and protozoan cysts — chemical-free.

What It Does
UV disinfection exposes water to ultraviolet light at 254nm, destroying the DNA of microorganisms and rendering them unable to reproduce. The Optimum 8 delivers 99.9999% (6-log) destruction of bacteria, viruses, and protozoan cysts — including E. coli, Giardia, and Cryptosporidium — with no chemicals, no taste impact, and no harmful byproducts.
