The Excalibur Signature Ultimate NSF-55 Class A – 8 GPM is a high-performance ultraviolet disinfection chamber for residential point-of-entry water treatment. Built and supplied by Excalibur and featuring a Luminor UV light, it delivers an 8 GPM flow rate with NSF 55 Class A certification — verified UV disinfection for smaller homes, cottages, and seasonal properties.

What It Does
UV disinfection exposes water to ultraviolet light at 254nm, destroying the DNA of microorganisms and rendering them unable to reproduce. At a 40 mJ/cm² UV dose, this system achieves 99.9999% (6-log) destruction of bacteria, viruses, and protozoan cysts — including E. coli, Giardia, and Cryptosporidium — with no chemicals, no taste impact, and no harmful byproducts.
